Adventure & Teen Camp Staff

Our unique Camp program is free to area children and teens (ages 4 – 20) with a physical or developmental disability. Staff members and volunteers work closely with campers to ensure they have a fun and memorable experience while trying new things, participating in engaging activities, and making friends.

Paid Positions

Counselors

Counselors will be assigned to a camper pod (campers will be grouped into pods to ensure health and safety) to provide support and encouragement to campers through daily camp activities.

Lead Counselors

Lead Counselors lead a camper pod and their counselors, providing assistance and guidance as needed.

Specialists

Specialists plan and lead specialized activities such as music, cooking, games, sports and more. They will rotate between each camper pod to lead these activities.

Volunteer Position

Volunteer Counselor Assistants – Camp volunteers will be assigned to a Variety child/counselor pairing to provide support and encouragement through daily camp activities.

The health and safety of our Variety Kids and staff members is our top priority. We will follow all health and safety guidelines current at the time of the event, including social distancing, masking and forming camper pods.
