Variety the Children’s Charity of St. Louis has launched a new virtual speaker series titled “Endless PossAbilities.” Every session is free to attend, takes place on Zoom, and features an individual with a disability sharing how they achieved their unique possibilities, covering a wide range of topics.
Variety Kids and Teens – and their families – are invited to join us for January’s “Endless PossAbilities” event on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 7 p.m. This month’s guest speaker will be Kaci Conley, a former Variety Kid who will share her personal story before spending time recognizing what it is like to be a young adult with a disability. She will also explain ableism and its forms as well as offer ways to manage being a person with a disability in an ableist world.
A bit more about Kaci: Kaci Conley (she/her) recently graduated from Maryville University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Organizational Leadership, and she is a current graduate student at The City University of New York School of Professional Studies, pursuing a Master of Arts in Psychology. As a woman with a disability, Kaci is passionate about disability awareness and advocacy. In addition, Kaci enjoys conducting psychological research and writing fiction. In her free time, Kaci likes playing board games with her family, spending time with her three cats, reading, writing, listening to music, and all things Disney!
We hope you and your family will join us and Kaci for this free virtual event. If you’re interested in attending, please RSVP in advance for the Zoom meeting at this link. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
